A refugee camp
at the border of Somalia suffers from the rush of people seeking help. The consumption of firewood leads to extensive deforestation and therefore to conflicts with the local population. With the dissemination of firewood saving stoves the firewood consumption is reduced by half.
A manufacturer of fitted kitchens
finances the dissemination of simple, efficient clay stoves using firewood for 5000 refugee families each year. Each customer of fitted kitchens receives a letter of gratitude together with a brochure informing on how many families have been provided with a firewood saving stove through the turnover due to his purchase of a kitchen. In showrooms of the kitchen manufacturer the situation of a refugee kitchen is reproduced at the beginning of the campaign.
