A development organization

combats drought and hunger in Niger through the cultivation and the dissemination of drought resistant seeds. At the same time farmers are trained in techniques of soil cultivation and storage of grain.

A big bakery

supports the 5 year project with an annual donation. Employees of the bakery volunteer to build up 10 simple village mills, the bakery finances flights and material. After a surplus harvest a small percentage of „Niger-millet“ is added to the dough in Germany and sold in the branches.
